Sharbari Dey serves as education program coordinator with Diversity and Multicultural Affairs at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Her portfolio includes coordinating some of DMA’s signature seminars, trainings and education experiences. Additionally she also advises R.O.C.T.S. (Rejuvenating Our Community Through Service), a student organization who lead the campus MLK Day of Service initiative. Sharbari is passionate about facilitating campus conversations on inclusion and thriving in multicultural environments. Sharbari’s areas of interest include gender equity, developing leadership experiences for faculty,staff and students, examining diversity in the culture continuum and developing community connections and cross cultural opportunities for engagement. Sharbari has her Masters in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, India.
